Different but beautiful song this one - another one of those that I love but for whatever reason do not listen to very often. Must rectify that.
My memory's rusty, but isn't this on the Big Sixteen 2 LP?

I'm answering this from work, so I don't have the big 16 2 lp handy. This was not released as a single (unless it was a b side that I don't remember), so I don't think it was on that album. That said, the album tracks in the UK were sometimes different than in the US.

My LPs are safely stored away in a box, and I have to confess to being too lazy about going and digging them out LOL Thinking more about it, though, I think I was wrong and actually it was the Only Love Can Break A Heart LP I meant instead (no idea why I got the two muddled....I think it's because I knew it was an early one, and the pic on Big Sixteen 2 - even though I remember Gene saying that that was from San Remo or something - always makes me think somewhere along the lines of '61, '62 or '63).

Looks like I picked the wrong time to miss checking the forum for a few days. "Someday I'm gonna find a way" might have been a clue I could have gotten, especially after the hints started coming. I have no idea on the current clue though.

Okay, completely ignore my last few posts because it's so definitely not what I got stuck in my head....which is annoying (if not embarrassing) because I know at the back of my brain by the song REALLY is, but can't get the tune of Little Betty Falling Star out of my head whenever I try to sing the line - ARGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Clue time, Gary? LOL

Aha!!!! Thanks Gary! Now I definitely do know what it is and have gotten Little Betty.... out of my head LOL To be honest, I prefer this song more, but I guess that's just because it's nice and bouncy and fun in a sweet way. Shame it wasn't on a single, though.

Oh this is so irritating. The words are going over and over in my head but I can't get any further. I have looked through my limited stock of CD's but I just can't find it. I think I will have to give up and leave it to someone else to solve.
